Intellectual needing a stiff drink
I buy my gum in the three packs, not because I like saving money, but because I like having the freedom to offer gum to the people around me when they see me take out a piece for myself. The good : - I am very ambitious and it's something I take a lot of pride in. Getting that PhD in 5 years! - I am also very silly. I am very good at making people laugh at and with me. - I am a great friend. I will always be your advocate, little voice in your head, and partner in crime. - I am a nerd. One of my best friends and I are writing an academic book together for fun. We are really excited about it. - I strive to be passionate and open minded to everyone. Some of my best experiences and relationships have come out of just taking the time to understand a person and their world. - I'm more of an academic but I tend to surround myself with art-y types. I live vicariously through their talents. - I'm a feminist! Anyone who is interested in being in my life can't be afraid of this word! Its part of my research and everyday life. Message me if you want to know what Feminism means to me (and what I think it should mean to you!). - I drinks a bit. At the bar (which I haven't been to in ATL because I don't have any friends yet) you can find me with a gin and juice. - I have been described as quirky. It fits pretty well. The bad (gotta be well rounded right?): - I tend to over commit. I really don't have anything going on right now because I just moved but just before I graduated I was on the exec board of 3 organizations and was always coming and going. This put a strain on some of my friendships (not the really good ones though). - I also like to be a good friend to most everyone I meet. This is in the bad because at times it has made my very close friends feel like I am fake and a people pleaser. - I can be really awkward. I actually love and hate this about me. I don't know about other people. - I have a foul mouth at times. I love this though lol. - Sometimes I use lol and omg. - Sometimes I talk like a 13 year old girl.
The first thing I turn to in Creative Loafing is events
I consider myself an open-minded person, but my deal breakers are closed monded people and people who hate women
It's Sunday morning at 10 a.m. If I'm not still sleeping, I'm at church
The quickest way to my heart is stimulating conversation The quickest way to my bed is a lengthy curriculum vitae And in the morning, I like my eggs cooked scrambled with american cheese
When I die, I believe I will go in public
I wouldn't be who I am if I didn't care
I wouldn't sell vacuums door to door (again) for a billion dollars.
